DC Asian Pacific American Film Festival, Sept. 28 through Oct. 7, 2006, Washington DC. Deadlines May 1 (regular) and May 31 (late).

The fest's mission is to "bring attention to the creative output from Asian Pacific American (APA) and Asian Diasporic communities and encourage the artistic development of APA films in the greater Washington DC metropolitan region." The screenings are held at the Smithsonian Institution, the American Film Institute, Landmark Theatres, the Canadian Embassy, and other venues.
