"Robot Stories" opens Feb. 13 in NYC

02.09.04

Another big one, folks -- "Robot Stories," an award winning feature film directed by AsianAmericanFilm.com editor Greg Pak, opens theatrically Feb. 13 in New York City at the Cinema Village, 22 E. 12th St.

Starring Tamlyn Tomita, Sab Shimono, Wai Ching Ho and Pak himself in four stories in which utterly human characters struggle to connect in a world of robot babies and android office workers, the film has won over 23 awards in the past year. But like other Asian American independent features like "Better Luck Tomorrow" and "Charlotte Sometimes," in order to survive past its first week in New York, the film needs to do incredibly well in its first three days of release. So please come out for that first weekend in New York!
