Hi, I think the mini-bio about Rei is good, given the time limitations. I happen to be a good friend of Rei, from back home. Rei's journey, from Head Designer of one of the Philippine's top RTW fashion houses to Lucky Cheng's in NYC, is a very interesting one. A film about him and his journey, would have been more "worth the trouble". No offense meant!!! I just know Rei to have much, much more depth to him than what this film has projected. Well, that's my 2 cents! All the best, George 02

soooo..I loved it....BUT...the one thing that was not fully expressed was that..all the incredible photos..were taken and aranged by Kaysa...in the scheme of things, she is a world class photographer..and that was barely touched on.....

Very colorful and interesting short bio. that depicts the typical inhibitions of a perplexed gay who blossomed to become free and liberal in NYC. Very well done! Bravo! - Sheilahmarie Buendia @ Anaheim Hills, CA.

I was surprised to see a short on Kaysa. I read about her about 5 years ago when she was working at Lucky Cheng's. My friends had a bachelor party there and was fortunate enough to have Kaysa visit out table and hang out...she actually sat on my lap and gave me a kiss!! Very good short. I enjoyed seeing her on-screen.

This film is extremely well made. A very complicated subject is presented in a clear, concise and entertaining way. Well done, Jean!

This is a great biopic. In 3.5 minutes, you were able to paint a portrait of Kasya's life. You exhibit her past, what she does now, what her future ambissions are, all without a sense of urgency. Great music and excellent footage. Definitely the gem of the Minute Movies. P.S. I've been to Lucky Cheng's a few times. Food is horrible but it's definitely a unique place.

Good work Jean given the time restraints of a short-short film. I have to say this is one of your better works. I did feel as though I needed the synopsis a little to ground me on more information, but other then that its a great bio piece. Ingats!!!

I love this short film! It's fabulous! Kasya is actually my mother's first cousin. Isn't she beautiful! I'm so very proud to have my Tita Kasya in my family. I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. However, I've visited the Philippines 4 times. The last time I say my Tita Kasya (Uncle Rey) was back in 1988. I've grown up alot since that time. I'm now 27 with a husband (married almost 3 years) and with a son who's over 19 months. To end this comment. . .I just want to say that all people, no matter what your gender, race, nationality, etc, should be treated as equals and should be loved for who they are. I love my Tita Kasya! I only wish we could see each other again soon. Thanks!

Oh my gawd... ang galing-galing!!! Kasya is a good friend of mine and it so nice to see him featured here. She is a real survivor and I have to admit, she is a modern day hero-ine!!! If you can make it in NYC, you can make it anywhere!!!
