Great piece. Love the music and the documentary style, especially with nicely cut pieces of interview. Excellent.

John Y is obviously a simple minded fellow or he has no insight. If he has any sense at all, he'd know that the guy is going to get lucky at the end. I thought it was sweet of the guy to do all that for her and even wiped her mouth at the end. The girl was probably just testing him and he passed with flying colors and will be rewarded.

Hey, the movie was funny. Shimako's voice and personality had that "What the +blocked+?" effect, but at the same time with a smile. It was definitely refreshing. Good Job.

Every war is won before it begins. I planned every shot thoroughly. Also designed a shot list which enabled me to economize the production. Had all the props ready. Wardrobe choices predetermined. I even played with the first version of iMovie on my iMac in order to master the editing. Two friends sent me original music in advance. No rehearsals though. Shot in 7 hours and cut it in the evening. Every battle is won before i

WOW, shot and edited in one day? I take it that it was the same day? For some reason I'm not surprised considering with the power of the digital media. What am I gonna do with all this film lyimg around? What program(s) (protools/premiere?) did you use to compleat it? Hyper!

Cute! Sort of "Chungking Express" meets "Run Lola Run," with a little nod to "Asian Pride Porn" to boot. _______________________________________ Too bad QuickTime degrades the sound quality and the image quality of the moving handheld shots and dissolves-- more fixed camera positions might be better for web delivery. _______________________________________ Shots of Francisco through the open door are murky, both visually and aurally. Also, I would've like to see the phone conversations edited so that we saw more of his and her reactions while the other person was talking instead of always being with whoever was talking at the moment. _______________________________________ Otherwise, fun. (BTW, who's minding the deli while Francisco's out on these errands?) _______________________________________ P.S. In response to Emy Baysic's message below: Is your computer set to 256 colors? That might be why the video's messed up. Kick it up to 16-bit color (High Color) or higher!

Hey Francisco!! Another cute story. I liked how you edited the film and music. It definitely helped to tell the story. I think something is wrong with the program I'm using to view your film. I'm seeing flourescent colors rather than the normal tv/computer colors. Other than that, it's cute:-) Peace!! Emy

Awsome work Francisco! Loved "Disoriented" too, so it's good to see that your keeping up great work! Cute story, gives something more to think about then the average romantic comedy. Good use of camera angles and editing which went well with the musik. Really like your sound track too! AA romantic comedies needs to come as a genera and you pull it off well. Shows a lot of maturity as a filmmaker. Good luck with your future work! BEST! HyperFlip
