Kudos to Cleveland based Asian American filmmaker Johnny Wu for getting five (count 'em, five!) films programmed into the the 2004 Wreck Beach Int'l Film Festival!

Cleveland Filmmaker's Five Shorts at 2004 Wreck Beach International Film Festival in Ontario, Canada
June 5th, 2004, Cleveland, Ohio. Five short films directed by Johnny Wu will be shown at 2004 Wreck Beach International Film Festival, an outdoor film festival held from June 18 to 20 at Wreck-Beach near the shores of Lake Simcoe in Ontario, Canada.
The festival consists of live music performed by bands during the day while films screening after night falls till daybreak. Wu's short films will be spread between Thursday and Saturday.
"We are excited, especially two of them are screening for the first time at Wreck Beach," said Johnny Wu.
Films screening at Wreck Beach International Film Festival include:
- Tetelestai – Mini Documentary, a behind-the-scene look at the people who brings a contemporary musical passion play about the last week in Jesus' life into reality. Produced by Cleveland Performing Arts Ministries. 2004, 13:45 mins, World Premiere. http://www.mdifilm.com/act1
- The Chase, follows the plight of a young beauty as she flees from a pursuer through the halls of an abandoned building. The Chase is the result of a self-imposed challenge by the filmmakers to produce a silent, yet compelling martial-arts driven story in an enclosed environment. Containing highly-choreographed fight scenes, stunt performers, wire-work and stylized lighting; The Chase is an attempt to create a live-action Anime. - John Doe's Vigilante, Wu's first short film, distributed by IndieClub.com and Shortkutz.com, John Doe is part of a series of short films where the stories doesn't relate to each other but it would make sense if played back-to-back.
