Works in Progress workshop this Saturday at the AAIFF in NYC

07.23 - Posted by Editor

Don't miss this one, folks! For the fourth or fifth year in a row, AsianAmericanFilm.com editor Greg Pak moderates the Works-in-Progress Workshop at the Asian American International Film Festival in New York City. It's a fantastic chance to see work at an early stage and help filmmakers improve their cuts through your feedback. This year's workshop features a fascinating new documentary by Ann Kaneko. Here's the scoop:

Works in Progress Workshop
At the Asian American International Film Festival
3:30 PM, Saturday, July 24
The Asia Society
725 Park Avenue (at 70th Street)
New York, NY 10021

Ann Akemi Kaneko will screen sections of her documentary work-in-progress AGAINST THE GRAIN: AN ARTIST'S SURVIVAL GUIDE TO PERU. Then audience members will provide feedback in a discussion moderated by Greg Pak, director of "Robot Stories" and editor of AsianAmericanFilm.com.
