CHRIS CHAN LEE'S "UNDOING" MAKES WORLD PREMIERE AT LOS ANGELES FILM FESTIVAL ON JUNE 24! AND JOIN APA FIRST WEEKEND FOR ALL OF THE ASIAN AMERICAN/ASIAN FILMS AT LAFF JUNE 22 - JULY 2 - IN WESTWOOD!

06.21 - Posted by APAFW

Dear APA FIRST WEEKEND FILM CLUB,

Join us in Los Angeles this coming week for the LOS ANGELES FILM FESTIVAL(LAFF)! JUNE 22 - JULY 2, 2006 IN WESTWOOD -that's over by UCLA. If you live in LA, make sure you come out to see films and if you don't live in LA, come out and join us as we celebrate our filmmakers at the LAFF! Watch here for reviews and interviews with our filmmakers!

They have got a good line up of Asian international and Asian American films. And most importantly, they have the world premiere of CHRIS CHAN LEE's long awaited UNDOING starring SUNG KANG, KELLY HU, LEONARDO NAM, RUSSELL WONG and others! Here's the info on UNDOING -

UNDOING
Director Chris Chan Lee
USA/90 min.

The third feature from Chris Chan Lee will be showcased in the LAFF's Narrative Feature Competition. (they could win a prize!)

After mysteriously disappearing one year ago, Samuel returns to the mean streets of Los Angeles' Koreatown, determined to atone for the mistakes of the past. But balancing revenge with reconciliation is a tricky business. With beautifully understated lead performances from Sung Kang and Kelly Hu and striking imagery from cinematographer John DeFazio, UNDOING works as both a stylish exercise in neo-noir and a character-driven drama.

Writer/director Chris Chan Lee never allows his film's criminal action to overshadow its quieter moments, as Samuel struggles to make peace with his past and present.
