Synopsis:
A new classic for sure, this fresh horror film from the Pang Brothers (THE EYE) starts out with classic conventions of the Asian horror wave but quickly propels the audience into a previously unexplored territories. Based around the concept of the recycle bin in a computer, a writer enters the in-between world of spirits. Riding on top of the crest of the Asian horror wave, the Pang Bbrothers have created an unforgettable work of terror with enough visual innovation and dramatic surprises to fuel a month of nightmares.

The story begins with a classic woman in trouble. Ting –yen is a popular young writer who is working on her latest novel. While writing the book she begins to experience disturbing events in her own apartment. After a series of frightening visions begin to unhinge her mind she suspects her own novel of tormenting her. The book is seemingly pulling her into another world, strangely when she discards parts of the story in the recycle bin they seem to enter the real world.

With jaw dropping effects and a fantastic script the Pang Brothers have once again created a powerful cinematic work. This is quite possibly their most ambitious film to date.
