A number of Asian Americans and Asian American films have been nominated for 2007 Independent Spirit Awards. Among the nominees:

Best First Feature:
"The Motel," directed by Michael Kang
"Man Push Cart," directed by Ramin Bahrani

Best Male Lead:
Ahmad Razvi, "Man Push Cart"

Someone to Watch Award:
So Yong Kim, "In Between Days"
Richard Wong, "Colma: The Musical"
