Hello. My name is _Thao Nguyen, a public relations officer for a new Asian American Men’s Entertainment Magazine called SAM. I am writing this letter is to pass the word about our print magazine that is hitting the market in November of this year, and we are presently seeking advertisers to purchase ad spaces and bookstores to distribute the magazine.

SAM is a quarterly men’s magazine targeted to Asian-American men. It is the first Asian American publication in history to feature all newcomer models in the most artistic and fashionable wear. SAM covers topics on self-improvement, sex, humor, success, fashion, and more.

The premiere issue of SAM will be mainly distributed in Northern California, in the San Francisco bay area. SAM will be carried in book and record stores, newsstands, Asian businesses and other chain outlets in California. In this dynamic marketplace where Asians have increased tremendously throughout the region, we strive to utilize the most effective marketing strategy to publicize your business.

The premiere issue will have a print run of 10,000. According to our survey, each copy of SAM will be read by an average of 4 people, bringing print readership to more than 40,000 for the first issue. Within a few years, we plan to distribute more than 50,000 in most major metropolitan cities in the US where majority of Asian Americans reside. Based on our online magazine statistics and surveys, we expect SAM hardcopy magazine to grow in circulation at an average rate of at least 100% annually.
