synopsis: Dillon McCabe, a twenty-something year old writer, is hospitalized for Fatal Familial Insomnia. Without the ability to sleep Dillon finds herself on a frenzied quest in search of answers in order to fulfill her dream of writing a novel before she turns 30. The subject of the novel, The Meaning of Life. With her partner, Hannah Aston, by her side the two must cope and come to terms with the final stages of this terminal disease, leaving Hannah to sort out her unresolved feelings for Dillon and Dillon questioning Hannah's love for her. In a race against the clock knowing she won't make it to her 30th birthday, and the deterioration of her mental state, Dillon summons five friends, all from different walks of life, to her bedside in the hopes to understand not what each of her them expect from life, but what life expects from each of them.
