Chac is an intense look into my mother who died when I was only 13 years old. My journey begins in America and ends up in my homeland, Vietnam. There I uncover the history of a mother I barely knew, and of a father I never met, and cope with the painful truth that forever changed the course of my life. CHAC won the GOLDEN ELEPHANT AWARD for BEST DOCUMENTARY at the BANGKOK FILM
FESTIVAL, beating out the 1999 Oscar nominated documentary film, REGRET TO
INFORM. CHAC also picked up the LENA SHARPE AWARD for AUDIENCE FAVORITE FILM
at the WOMEN IN CINEMA FILM FESTIVAL in Seattle. Since its completion in
