Haiku Fu Home | How to Play | What is Haiku? Ah, the joys of haiku! So simple, yet so deep! Now you can write your own, about Asian American subjects so near and dear to all our hearts! How to play The rules are simple: First, write a haiku inspired by the picture on the first listing on the Haiku Fu main page. Then submit it using the comments section at the bottom of the page. Please note that off topic or obscene posts will be deleted at our discretion. As an additional incentive, we'll give out small but thrilling prizes to the writers of what we in our awesome wisdom deem to be the best submitted haiku. Please be sure to include your email address if you want to be considered for a prize. What's a haiku? A haiku is a seventeen syllable poem consisting of three lines -- the first line has five syllables, the second seven, and the third five. Traditional haiku usually include a reference to the seasons or the natural world (we won't necessarily hold you to this). info@AsianAmericanFilm.com
