Filmmaker Bio: Don is a filmmaker from Washington DC who works for a local production company, RP63 Films. He has notable experience working on independent features including Gene Cajayon's "The Debut" (www.debutfilm.com), and behind the camera on an upcoming feature, "The Sky Is Falling." (View the trailer at www.theskyisfalling.net). Don recently completed a short called, "Passport," which has already been labeled "Highly Controversial." Look for "Passport" to screen at the main festivals in 2001.
Don first heard of MinuteMovies from the CineGang Listserv. (Cinegang is a worldwide network of Filipino Filmmakers). He jumped at the chance to apply because he strongly believes in and supports MinuteMovies' promotion of the Writer/Director. "It's so important for Asians to be involved in every aspect of filmmaking. It's not enough for Asians to be behind or in front of the cameras, we have to create the stories we wanna see." With a pipeline full of projects for the coming year, Don hopes "Two Minutes To Death" will be the kickoff to a great year.
